How does a TapHab card actually work?

There's an NFC chip inside the card. Hold it against the back of a modern smartphone and the phone's built-in reader opens your profile link in the browser. Nothing is installed and nothing is scanned.

Does the other person need an app?

No. Their phone opens your profile on its own. You manage your side from the TapHab dashboard in any browser — that doesn't need an app either.

Can I change my profile after the card is printed?

Yes, as often as you like. The card points to a live page, so your title, links, portfolio and contact details can change without touching the physical card.

Does it work with both iPhone and Android?

Yes. iPhone 7 and later on iOS 14 or newer, and Android devices from 2014 onward with NFC switched on.

What happens if I lose my card?

Switch it off from your dashboard and the link stops resolving straight away. Order a replacement and point it at the same profile — nobody you've already met needs to do anything.

What's the difference between TapHab and Habton?

Habton is the company — a UAE software and marketing technology firm. TapHab is one of its products, the one focused on NFC cards and digital profiles. EduTrack and Habton Marketing are the other two.
